Several female athletes are participating in the Vancouver Olympics as out lesbians.  This includes two hockey players, a speed skater and a cross country skiier.

The LGBT community is also increasing visibility in these Olympics through Pride House, a hospitality suite for LGBT players, coaches, family, allies, etc.  It is being set up by an organization called Gay Whistler.
